AS “Ritales” is a leather tannery located in Latvia. We are the only leather tanners in Latvia. The tannery produces wet blue hides and crust, which are manufactured from high quality Latvian cattle hides. AS “Ritales” has been an expert in leather tanning since 1999, offering qualitative products. All hides are machine flayed.
Some technical information:
· We offer wet blue in such proportions:
40% - A; B class hides
40% - C class hides
20% - D class hides
· The defects for B and C class hides are minor bug bites, minor cuts and
scratches, the useful areas are:
A - 90%
B - 80%
C - 70%
D - 50%
· The size of one wet blue cattle hide is 3.4 m2.
· The thickness of cow hides is 2.5 mm and 3mm for bull hides;
· We package our cattle hides on pallets and wrap them in
polythene, 500 m2 go onto one pallet;
· We load 4500 - 5000 m2 into one container;
· We produce 40-50 percent cow hides and 50-60 percent bull hides.
