Main component in stoving finishes,lacquers, enamels and varnishes based on butylatded urea or melamine formaldehyde colorless resins. Compatible with a wide range of alkyds, epoxy, polyester and nitrocellulose resins. Excellent color retention and resistance to acids, alkalies, and heat. Very low free formaldehyde content. Anti-striation properties with excellent adhesion to metal and wood surfaces in cold cure and stove lacquers. Listed by the FDA as being approved for food contact.
