Below, some information on my company
-----
"Harvey Mandlin has revolutionized what had been called, the surplus business."
- Susan Stamberg, National Public Radio
"Harvey Mandlin uncovers hidden value where others, see only junk"
- John Idsty, financial reporter for NPR, on "All Things Considered".
CRC has sold more diverse surplus product than any other company in North America.
CRC has sold surplus to The US Air Force, US Military Sea-lift Command, The Netherlands Air Force and The governments of Greece and Turkey. We sold electric power stations to Mexicana De Cobre. CRC was the first company to sell certified (OHC) aircraft parts to the Civil Aviation Authority of China. Before CRC, Boeing was China's sole supplier.
CRC supplied, water well drilling equipment to Catholic Relief in Africa, production robots to IBM, micro filtration for Rockwell', huge marine engine cylinders to Sulzer Switzerland, 12 foot bearings to Marcal Paper, nuclear badge readers to Matsushita, avionics to Bendix, Sperry, RCA, ultra pressure tanker hose to Uniroyal, massive pumps to Cementos Guadalajara, road construction machinery to Ingersol Rand, ATMs to BankAmerica, measurement instrumentation to Yale Physics Lab, pharmaceuticals to Dow, ophthalmic surgeon's tools to New York Eye and Ear Hospital, computer micro-imaging to GM, helicopter rotors to Sikorsky, hazmat magnesium powder, 40 tons of rubber bands, dialysis materials, essential oil, container loads of cassia, MilSpec electronics, cable, switches & thousands more diverse, high tech or mundane products.
We abhor waste. CRC finds alternate uses for products and materials and new markets across language and cultural barriers. Even a generation later, our customers can recall that, as one put it, "My father remembers that your deal left a good taste in his mouth".
“…a valuable service: recovering billions of dollars of goods and equipment that would otherwise be wasted.”
Douglas Martin, The New York Times
