Hello, I'm new to this board so go easy on me please.

I am looking for sewing machines for making boots. Particularly, I would like to be able to equip myself to perform Norwegian welting of hike boots.

I have been considering the Tippmann Aerostitch and Boss and would like to ask two questions, in the hope that I will get feedback from people who are actually using either of these machines for the purpose of doing Norwegian welts.

First question - Will either of these machines perform this job properly? I am looking to sew heavy rump sole in layers to 12mm thick to uppers in the range of 3mm thick.

Second question - Is there an agent for the Tipmann sewing machines in Australia? I am hesitant to buy from overseas in regards to warranty and spares when I can't visit the shop personally.

Thanks in advance for your help.
