The new automatic bottom roughing machine model K 171 is suitable for all types of work: fror,n the smallest children's sizes to the largest for men's and also for any type of ladies' shoes with any height of heel or leather thickness.

The most important innovations of this model are:
higher working speed (more than 2000 pairs in 8 hours)
electronic programming of different shapes of last (elimination of the copying by templets)
the new programming system can contain up to 1 00 shapes of different styles
the programming is very simple and fast • the brushes are dressed automatically at predetermined intervals
ability to make immediate alterations in 3 areas: forepart, waist and heel seat, when changing last styles and left/right
the brush pressure can be adjusted at different points, and in addition the brush speed can be changed in the forepart, waist, seat area
an additional advantage is that whilst the roughing carriage returns to its starting point it is used to clean any surplus material and cement from the lasting margin.
